Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search box is sent to the third-party service that supplies the result experience. Franklin Township Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those searches. A message sent to us contains the information included in that message and is used to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting systems may create routine logs such as an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and time of visit. Aggregate review supports security, maintenance, and an understanding of which directory paths are used. Cookies or similar tools can also support basic analytics or advertising measurement where available.
How Limited Data Is Used
Limited data supports operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and improvements to the reference pages. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Services and Links
Links lead to County and State portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search services. The recipient's own privacy policy controls data sent there, including information entered through sponsored-result services.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers process relevant server information for the service. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the technical data described above. Information is otherwise disclosed only when required through valid legal process.
Security and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection and keeps logs only for the operational purposes described here. Because there are no user accounts, the site does not hold a visitor password or profile.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from a visitor under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor has sent personal information so it can be removed.
Your Information Choices
Applicable law may give visitors rights to ask about, correct, or delete personal information a service retains. Ohio research for this project did not identify a broad enacted consumer-privacy statute that creates a universal deletion right. Because the service retains little information, requests generally concern the contact mailbox or relevant logs; use the Contact page to make one. Ohio public records held by a Township, County, State, or city custodian are outside this service's control and must be addressed to that custodian.

Changes will be posted here. Continued use after a revision indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
